Management and Training Consultancies A key mandatory function of SLIDA is to provide management and organizational development consultancy services to public sector organizations in order to enhance the performance of their personnel. The consultancies undertaken by SLIDA fall into two categories: Management Consultancies and Training Consultancies. Public sector organizations usually seek the services of SLIDA for management consultancies and for specific needs like the preparation of corporate plans, HRD plans, performance appraisal schemes, incentive payments to staff, cadre assessments, structuring and/or re-structuring organizations, etc. The training consultancies provide tailor made training programs/ workshops to improve competencies of specific target groups. These consultancies include Managerial Skills, Productivity and Quality Improvement, Team Building, Customer Care, Human Resource Management, Financial Management etc. Many public sector organizations have found that the inputs provided by these consultancies have contributed to improve their management practices and human resources. At present, SLIDA offers a wide range of consultancy service on the following basis:
SLIDA charges a professional fee for category (1) and (3) based on the SLIDA rules for external consultancy services. Over the past 27 years SLIDA has developed its competencies and capabilities on providing management and training consultancy services and SLIDA has earned a reputation on providing consultancy services to the public sector. In doing so, SLIDA obtains the services of a wide range of experts who have excelled in different disciplines within the public service. This directory extends invitations to Public sector organizations to obtain SLIDA’s professional services to improve their management practices to deliver efficient and effective services to the public.
