Research Based Policy Formulation and Researcher Development Program
SLIDA is stepping into contributing towards the national level requirement for researcher development, marked another millstone by designing and launching “Research Based Policy Formulation and Researcher Development Program”. The program originally launched in last year, but the phase I of the program; “Module on Developing Research Competencies” commenced on 11th January 2023 with online participation of 30 trainee researchers as the very first group. Also, two more groups commenced respectively on 12th January & 13th January 2023, with 30 trainee researchers online and with 41 trainee researchers at the in-class session. Dr. W.M.M.G.D. Wijekoon Additional Director General of R &D at SLIDA, welcomed and conducted the initial sessions.
