Enriching and developing the required competencies knowledge skills, attitudes and behaviours are necessary for continuous career development of the public sector officials. SLIDA has initiated the capacity building programme with a view to enhance the competencies of Sri Lanka Planning Service officers to meet the mandatory requirement of the new service minute of the SLPS approved by the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration Management and Law & Order.
The overall objective of the program is to engage in a continuous learning process to enhance core competencies that are necessary to carrying out their jobs efficient and effective manner. The group of 30 SLPS class I officers (Batch A) successfully completed the capacity building program and the certificates are awarded on 4th October 2018 at “Sankathani” hall, SLIDA. The certificates are awarded by Mrs. Padma Rajapaksha, Additional Director General (Admin & Finance) and Mrs. Neranjala Jayasundara, Senior Consultant and Overall coordinator of the capacity building of SLPS class I Programme.
