Capacity Building for Service Excellence

Under the patronage of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Public Administration and Management, the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) in collaboration with the Temasek Foundation International and the Civil Service College Singapore jointly conducted a module on Implementing Change Through Project Management of the programme titled Capacity Building for Service Excellence at SLIDA from 19th - 28th September 2017 for 70 public sector executives.

The lead facilitator of the above two workshops was Dr. Christopher Koh from the Civil Service College Singapore. Dr. Koh earned all his graduate degrees, the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His many demonstrated professional engagements include being a Lead Consultant in strategy and management, serving government organizations, financial institutions and global corporations around the world. He is also the Managing Partner of Asia Management Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in business strategy, project management and strategic leadership, and a certified Kepner-Tregoe Instructor for Project Management. Dr. Koh is also a consultant in the development of organization-specific project management infrastructure (Project Management Office) for both private and public sector organizations. His repertoire of assignments also extends to having served for global organizations such as the Citibank N. A., ABN-AMRO and JP Morgan Chase.
