Physical Fitness Programme for SLIDA Employees

The physical exercise programme was conducted by SLIDA on Monday January 25 to mark the National Sports and Physical Fitness Promotion week (25-30 January 2016) . The purpose of launching of this week is intended to initiate effective action to contain the incidence of non communicable diseases rapidly spreading in Sri Lanka and to a make themes: “Sports for all”, “Sports for peace” and “Sports for fitness, happiness and victory” active and meaningful.

Director General, SLIDA, Professor M.Thilakasiri delivered a speech on the need to engage in exercises for physical fitness. Additional Director General (Training and Learning) Mr. Sujan Nanayakkara conducted introductory physical exercise for the staff members thereafter.
