“Sandharani” Research Centre of SLIDA was declared open by Hon. Ranjith Madduma Bandara, MP, Minister of Public Administration and Management as the Chief Guest and Ms. Una McCauley, Resident Coordinator for the UN and Resident Representative for UNDP as the Guest of Honour, on Wednesday 17th January 2018. In addition, “Sanshravani” lecture theatre with state of the art multimedia at international level facilities was also opened today.
On the side-lines of the opening of the research centre and the lecture theatre, launching of electronic library with the access to many e- books and e- journals, publishing the first journal of the Research Centre and, publishing of the Manual for Researchers also took place. The new Research Centre will be a platform for any researcher who wish to engage in research and, the new lecture theatre will provide a comfortable and inspiring academic atmosphere.
Sri Lanka Journal of Development Administration (SLJDA) publishes annually. This Journal is a bold initiative of SLIDA to maintain a quality publication to robust knowledge through research and scholarly writings on public administration and public management. SLJDA has subscribed to Sri Lanka Journals Online http://www.sljol.info/ managed by National Science Foundation (NSF) Sri Lanka, and supported by INASP.
