Special Instructions for participants of Online Programmes
GENERAL INFORMATION
Course fees and Exemptions
Course fee in respect of each programme is stipulated under the respective course descriptions in the prospectus. Employees of Government Ministries, Departments and Provincial Councils are exempted from paying the course fee. (State Owned Enterprise (SOE) employees are not exempted from Course fee.) However, this exemption does not apply to Master of Public Management, Diploma Programmes, Certificate in Proessional English, Speechcraft Training Programme, Certificate in Research Methodology, Certificate in Project Management and Workshop on Business Writing Payment should be made before starting date of the programme by cheque drawn in favour of the Diretor General, SLIDA.
Programme Dates
The scheduled dates of the programmes will be published in our prgramme calendar. On receiving the required number of applications, selected officers will be informed one month prior to the commencement of the programme. Applicants will be selected on the first come first served basis.
The applicants should arrive at SLIDA to participate in a selected programme, only on receipt of a letter of selection from the institute.
Other Conditions
Diploma Programmes: The diploma will be awarded on passing semester examinations, presentations and assignments.
Other Programmes: The certificate will be awarded, if a participant completes the entire programme with 80% of attendance.
