Introduction

The Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) was established under the SLIDA Act No.9 of 1982. 

The Institute is the premier public sector training organization in Sri Lanka for the development of knowledge and improvement of managerial skills in Public Administration. 

In addition to the training activities, SLIDA also undertakes management consultancy services to develop identifiable functional areas of management, as well as review and improve organizational systems. 

SLIDA also undertakes policy research and provides policy support to government departments and agencies.
